Well if there is a couple to hang out with on a Friday night and get to capture sweet shots, this is it.  This old warehouse arts district in Lawrence is my new favorite place to go.  I could get used to a studio down here!  Katie and Charlie are so adorable.  A sweet love story for sure.  They were so easy to pose--just like a little Ken and Barbie doll.  We even ended the evening hearing about their romantic beginnings over macaroons.  Thanks guys--I know you will be very happy together~!

My dear friend mentioned that we have to be spontaneous in order to make these saturday outings happen.  A cooler in the back and two extra car seats made our trip to trader joes that much more fun.  Dropping the closet de-clutter agenda this afternoon ended up with giggles and connections worth the trip! My favorite parts--holding a tiny hand that didn't belong to me and the birthday girl blowing out her pretend candle.

big sticks little guy baw I find it so hard to believe that last week we were playing in the snow and today we went on a mud hike.  What a blessing my days off are.  If I can get out of the house and truly enjoy time with my two wee ones, then I don't mind my lack of productivity on my to-do list.  I was inspired by a big mud puddle photo I ran across this morning and really don't want my kids to hate getting dirty. (you know, don't let your kids be like you;)  So, mud day--we dressed for it and found the mud as well as a super happy two year old.  He cracked me up so many times carrying around these huge sticks (he said they were for daddy). And we ran into this puppy named Dash on the trail.  He got so excited while the owner and I were chatting that the leash nearly knocked Sawyer down.  "Naughy dog" and many tears proceeded.  Tonight when we were looking at photos of today Sawyer said in his sweetest 2 year old voice--"that was kinda scary, I'm only a little guy."
